Jessica Mamey is a mezzo-soprano, performing a variety of musical styles from Cabaret to Classical. She has been noted for her wide dramatic and musical range across a variety of roles including Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti, Despina in Cosi fan tutte, Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Flora in La traviata, Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus and Martha in Faust.

Ms. Mamey has been an active performer with Southern California Opera companies including Center Stage Opera, Pacific Opera Project, Repertory Opera Company and The Celestial Opera Company.   She has a been a featured soloist in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy and Symphony No. 9 with the Pasadena Master Chorale and LA Daiku Singers.

Ms. Mamey is scheduled to appear with Independent Opera Company as Fillipyevna in their first ever production, Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin this June & July. Most recently she appeared as Dinah in Bernsteins Trouble in Tahiti (Pacific Opera Project, April) and as Despina in Mozarts Cosi fan tutte (Pacific Opera Project, May).

Miss Mamey graduated from Occidental College where she was a four year member of the Occidental College Glee Club and the Accidentals all-female a cappella group. At Occidental, she began her vocal studies with Scott Blois.  She continues her studies with teacher Joann Zajac and coaches Roger Cantrell and Frank Fetta.
